A serious accident took place Sunday on Interstate 8 that left a 77 year-old man dead. 

The accident occurred around 7:00 p.m. Sunday. 

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle the man was in lost control.  This caused the vehicle to travel off the road, and eventually flip and roll several times before coming to a stop.  

One individual in the accident was ejected from the vehicle, and another was partially ejected. No one inside the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
