Obama Administration Pushing for Ban on Texting While Driving

by Administrator 5. October 2009 02:06

An official with the Obama administration has recently announced efforts in order to curb and stop the practice of texting while driving.

The push has put new restrictions on vehicles making interstate travel.  The restrictions will not allow the drivers of these vehicles to text while driving. Administration officials hope that this new restriction will lead the way for other states to begin creating and enforcing restrictions against this dangerous and distracting practice.

Have you or someone you know been involved in an accident because of a driver text messaging?  If so,  please speak with an experienced Tucson car accident lawyer by contacting the offices of Haralson, Miller, Pitt, Feldman & McAnally, P.L.C., at 800-723-1676.
