A man was killed in an accident at work after being crushed by a 1,000 pound roll of carpet. According to reports,  the man was killed shortly after arriving to work early in the morning at his business.  The man was attempting to move the large roll of carpet when it fell on him.  A co-worker found the man trapped under the carpet and had to use a forklift to free the man.  The man was not responsive after the carpet roll was moved and authorities were called,   however it was too late and the man was pronounced dead at the scene when authorities arrived.

The man's death has been ruled an accident.
