A recent car accident was caused over the weekend.  Authorities believe the driver that caused the accident was under the influence of methamphetamine at the time of the accident.

According to reports,  the driver of the vehicle was behaving erratically before side swiping a Honda Civic.  The two cars would spin out and strike the center median after the collision.

Authorities arrived on the scene and became suspicious of the driver who was behaving strangely.  After questioning the individual,  police began to search his vehicle.  At this point,  authorities found a small amount of methamphetamine. The man was arrested shortly later.  The individual in the other vehicle was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries and is expected to recover fully.
