Arizona Trooper Injured in Accident

An Arizona trooper was recently injured in an accident that took place Sunday morning.  The road conditions were snowy where the accident took place.

The officer was responding to an accident and was outside of his vehicle on  Interstate 17.   Another vehicle was approaching the scene of the accident and the driver lost control.  The vehicle then struck the officer causing serious injuries.  Others were injured on the scene as well,  however the officer sustained the most serious injuries in the accident.

11 Month-Old Killed in Accident

An 11 month-old girl was recently killed after a 40 pound television fell on her.  The young girls brother, who is only 2 years-of-age,  was attempting to turn the television channel when the accident took place.

The young child was killed by the TV after it fell on top of her.  Phoenix law officials and rescue personnel rushed to the house where the accident took place.  It was unfortunately too late for the young child and she died from her injuries.  A spokesperson for the Phoenix Fire Department has stated that this was the third accident involving a television falling down and hurting a young child in the last three weeks.

Two Young Children Killed

An 18-month old child and a 4 month-old baby were killed in an accident that recently took place over the weekend on Interstate 10 in Arizona. 

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.  According to reports,   the two children were killed when the vehicle they were riding in was struck from behind by a driver.  The vehicle the children were in was stopped in the east lane of the interstate before it was struck.  

It is currently unclear why the vehicle was stopped in the highway.   Both drivers in the two vehicles involved in the accident were injured.

Two Injured in Helicopter Accident

Two individuals in Arizona were recently injured in an accident when a helicopter they were riding in took a hard crashing landing.  The accident occurred Wednesday at an Arizona Indian reservation.  

The two individuals injured in the accident were airlifted to a hospital in Phoenix.  The injuries are not life-threatening,  and the two individuals are expected to recover. 

The accident will be investigated by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board which is standard for any aviation related accident.

Arizona Man Killed in Accident

An Arizona man has recently been killed following an accident that took place last Thursday night.  The accident occurred out of state as the man was traveling through Idaho.

The man was travelling southbound on a highway when the accident took place around 7:30 at night. 

According to reports,  the man lost control of the vehicle because of poor road conditions and struck an embankment. Although the man was wearing a seatbelt,  the impact of the accident killed him.  A passenger in the vehicle was taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The accident is currently under investigation by law enforcement.
