Interstate 17 Accident Causes Delays

An accident recently took place on Interstate 17 that caused delays and traffic to be re-routed in order for emergency workers to respond.

The accident took place Sunday afternoon.   It involved at least two cars that were travelling on the Interstate.  According to reports,  one of the vehicles lost control and then swerved into the other.  This caused one of the vehicles to briefly go off the road before the driver could take control of it.  The other car struck the median and caused damage to the vehicle.  The driver of this vehicle had injuries and had to be taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Accident Backs up Traffic Several Hours

An accident took place in Flagstaff which left at least one individual seriously injured.  The individual seriously injured suffered head trauma from the accident.

According to reports,  the accident involved two vehicles that were driving near the intersection of University Drive and the Woodlands Village Boulevard.  After the accident,  the road had to be closed in order for emergency officials to assist at the scene of the accident.  

The accident is currently under investigation.  More information should be released at a later date.  The current status of the individual injured was not available.

Arizona Resident Can Sue Tire Company for Accident

A recent court decision has ruled that an Arizona resident can sue a tire company in Arizona for an accident that took place in Mexico.

A serious accident took place that left two individuals dead after the tire on the vehicle separated.  The victims in the accident claim that the tire was defective and led to the accident.   The company that the suit is against claimed that the case should happen in Mexico,  where the accident took place.  The victim fought to get the case to take place in Arizona for a variety of reasons.

One Dead in Accident

It is reported that an accident took place early Monday morning that left at least one individual dead.  The accident took place on State Route 51 near Glendale.

It is believed only one vehicle was involved in the accident, although the investigation has not fully taken place yet.  The road was not seriously affected as the truck involved in the accident was stopped off on the side of the road at the end of the accident.

Interstate 10 Closed Following Fatal Accident

Fatal two vehicle accident took place early this morning around 5:00 a.m. on Interstate 10.   There was at least one confirmed fatality in the accident, and the details about the conditions of the others involved in the accident has not yet been released.

The wreck caused delays and  the closure of the eastbound lane as workers and emergency personnel responded.  Delays resulted for a significant amount of time because of the accident.

The accident is currently under investigation, and the Department of  Public Safety is hoping to determine who or what caused this fatal accident to take place.
